"Friday Hike" Last Friday my sister, Lizzy, and I took Chloe and Essie (our respective "babies") for a hike.  A friend had told me about trails near Palos Heights and so we packed up the car and headed out of the city.  Long story short, what was supposed to be a 4.3 mile loop ended [...]

"Yellow Wood" Late April means beautiful autumn colors at Torres del Paine National Park in Chilean Patagonia. My friend, Katie, and I experienced everything from blizzards to rain to fog to sunshine on our 5 day hike along the "W" trail.  The colors grew more vibrant each day!
