BNP Paribas Open
Worked closely with developers to completely relaunch the website prior to the 2018 tournament. This expedited project included all new copy and content sections, focusing more on the fan experience and destination while tying in the tournament’s theme of Tennis Paradise. In addition to writing all fresh copy, identified colorful and vibrant imagery to illustrate the message. The new website resulted in a 25% increase in web sales.
Managed the website during the 2019 tournament, selected and placed all written content, video and photos. The content-led website boasted an extremely low bounce rate (less than 10%) during the tournament dates and web sales in this period increased nearly 23% over the previous year.
Oracle Challenger Series
Worked as project manager and primary content creator to launch the Oracle Challenger Series website the summer of 2018. Worked closely with Oracle and the developers to create a website that served as both the hub of the Series but also functioned as four individual tournament sub-sites, while adhering to Oracle brand guidelines. Manage content and write all web stories during the four Oracle Challenger Series events.
Led the full content audit and complete rewrite of the Natural Retreats website. Wrote majority of the web copy for both the main and destination-specific pages, including home and property descriptions. Ideated and implemented the addition of the the Natural Retreats Experience Guides, seasonal itineraries and location suggestions, written in the voice of each Xplore Team Member. Contributed regularly to the Natural Retreats blog/journal.
Chicago Electric Boat Company
Led a complete audit and rewrite of all content on the Chicago Electric Boat Company website in conjunction with a web redevelopment, prior to the 2017 season. The new website resulted in a 34% increase in web sales over the previous season.
Wrote all copy and directed all photography and video content to launch the newest boating adventure on the Chicago River.
