“Friday Hike”
Last Friday my sister, Lizzy, and I took Chloe and Essie (our respective “babies”) for a hike. A friend had told me about trails near Palos Heights and so we packed up the car and headed out of the city. Long story short, what was supposed to be a 4.3 mile loop ended up as a 10 mile out and back/combination of trails. A bit longer than expected, but the beautiful scenery and colors made it seem like walk in the park.
