St. Peter’s in the Loop

In late April when my longtime friend, Emily, asked me to take some artistic photographs of St. Peter's Church in the Loop I was a little nervous about taking on the challenge.  The church is in the middle of Chicago's busy financial district, sandwiched between skyscrapers and L tracks.  Emily wanted a black and white [...]

Jeff & Nita

Last weekend I photographed the wedding of Jeff and Nita at Winnetka Bible Church in Winnetka, IL.  Jeff and I have been friends since high school and it was really fun for me to share in his special day by capturing its moments in photos.  Here are a couple of my favorites from the day. [...]

Have You Had Lunch Yet?

Last Thursday I had the pleasure of photographing a fundraiser given by The Foundation Fighting Blindness at Green Acres Country Club in Northbrook, IL.  The event, entitled "Artistry of Wine," featured delicious sample fare from several local restaurants and eateries.  A great way to raise money for a worthy cause and give a little publicity [...]

In Your Own Backyard…

Sometimes the most beautiful scenes are found in your own backyard. My mom and I enjoyed this sunset last week, on the first evening of daylight savings. Whether oaks or acacias, I love me some trees silhouetted against a sunset sky.

Jennifer Yard

I am DELIGHTED to report that the chicken coup for Baruku has been constructed and is eagerly awaiting chickens next week! The residents worked hard to get it done ahead of schedule and are extremely motivated for this project. I'm flattered (and a little bit embarrassed) that they have decided to call the project Jennifer [...]

Sittin’ Pretty

Lend Lease Chicago, IL Kristin needed head shots in natural light, so we took a walk around the block and this is what we came up with.
