The fall colors in April make the Patagonian landscape even more impressive and add to the remote feeling one gets in a place like that. The tall, dried grass along the shore of Lake Pehoe invited me to sit and enjoy the clear view of the mountains from a different perspective. As the grass danced in the wind and the waves lapped on the shore I sat perfectly still, breathed deeply and tried to soak it all in. I couldn’t help but smile and think to myself that years from now, when I think of Patagonia, I will think of this moment.
