July 13 was a pretty exciting social media day in Chicago. A thunderstorm rolled through the city, leaving a stunning double rainbow over the city in its wake. If you follow someone from Chicago on Instagram, I'm sure you gave it a double tap and a heart-eyed emoji. It was pretty spectacular.
On the evening of July 19th my amazing grandparents were laid to rest in their beloved Lake Michigan.
Before I opened my eyes this morning I threw up a little prayer and imagined myself swimming with whale sharks in Australia, admiring the Northern Lights in Iceland and summiting Aconcagua in Argentina.
