Icy Lighthouse at Sunset

A few more of the Charlevoix Lighthouse from my trip last week. Ice is insane, so many patterns! I love nature. Do you like my travel photos? Want to see more? Then please help me make my dreams come true and vote for me to win the Biggest, Baddest, Bucket List!

Passport Stamps and the Stories They Tell

National Geographic Traveler recently shared a photo essay through their Intelligent Travel blog, depicting various passport stamps from some of their contributors and the stories behind them. This got me thinking about my own passport and how much I treasure the stamps inside. The US State Department must realize that travelers tend to get sentimental [...]

Many more images coming, probably tomorrow morning when the internet is [...]

Snow Covered Lakes

My first full day in wintertime Charlevoix. Woke with no agenda, here's a photo essay (provided by my iPhone) of the day. Tomorrow is a new day and with it comes new adventures.

A cover letter for My Destination

It seems like all I have been thinking about lately is the Biggest Baddest Bucket List competition and scrambling to get votes for my entry. Though the more I think about it, the more I think of it as a job application because, if I win, it would be a ginormous advancement to my career. [...]

Mista, mista! Get me outta here!

Do you ever feel like that? Not that you're being held prisoner in a nursing home by a crazily mustached Ben Stiller, but simply that desperation of GET ME OUTTA HERE! I feel that at least twice a month. Ask my friends, my mom, my sisters... I frequently throw up my hands and announce, "I [...]
