View from Recreation Drive

I feel like my life has been one big family portrait lately – hard to believe it’s already that time of year!

I love shooting on location in Chicago. The lake and many parks offer such lovely views of the city where water, buildings and colorful trees can all fit in the same frame. This is the view from Recreation Drive, north of Belmont Harbor, from a few weekends ago. I was shooting a family session during a few dry hours on an otherwise rainy weekend and had to snap at least one of the skyline.
