This week I journeyed back to the Rift Valley with Irene and Faith, a midwife from Austin, TX to spend the week working with IDP’s at Kikopey, Pipeline and Rongai. It was exciting to see how the area has changed in the past 14 months. More structures, less tents, more community projects and less hopelessness. There’s still a long way to go for these people, but the progress since my last visit was encouraging and inspiring! Over the next couple of days, I plan on recapping some moments of the week – complete with photos – so stay tuned!
