Last Sunday was my birthday. A big birthday – more on that later.
For as long as I can remember, my dad has given my sisters and me flowers on our birthdays. This year called for 30 white roses – so gorgeous!
I got this vase as a favor from a friend’s wedding a couple of years ago. She’s so creative – she and her now husband visited dozens of antique and secondhand stores and had a selection of eclectic vases, bird figurines and other trinkets on the tables for their guests to choose from. I’m so glad that I snagged this vase, I use it all the time! It’s so unique and vintage and makes me think of Anne.
And this is a little glimpse of my apartment. It’s a studio unit in an old, charming building and I’m constantly working to make it my own. It has great light, creaky hardwood floors and is a cozy place to call home in a big city.
