Last night was one of those nights when I couldn’t imagine living anyplace other than Chicago. A few friends and I attended the concert in the park event with Ray LaMontange and David Gray and enjoyed a perfect summer evening.
Good food, good music, good friends… and a good chance to try out my new camera! I needed a new camera to just throw in my purse. After lots of research and a couple of trips to Best Buy to hold the different models, I finally decided upon the Canon Powershot S90 and I’ve been beyond impressed! Pretty much all of the settings can be made manual, so it feels almost like using a DSLR. But it’s small enough to fit in my purse, or even pocket. I did some experimenting with night shots while I had the opportunity… this is what I got.

Nice shots. I see the S90 has just been updated to the S95. I think some of the video settings changed. I will probably buy the S95 based on your recommendation.
