I’m cleaning out some old files on my computer and various external hard drives and came across this mini-series I did in January of 2009. The subject was my windowsill and the amaryllis bulbs I had received for Christmas. The window in my old kitchen faced west and I remember walking in the room in the late afternoon and early evening and running to get my camera as the setting sun dramatically backlight the amaryllis petals.
